Swwe21 Lifestyle Change Challenge

Vision Board

I’ve always felt like something was missing, like my passions have evaded me. This has been a very serious problem for as long as I can remember, I don’t want to be remembered as predictable, but seriously, I am set in my ways. We need to break out of that comfort zone. Today’s challenge is for me to empower you to do something you’ve been putting off for a while, I will participate in this exercise too, it has has to be something no one is expecting of you, and I, lets break out of our comfort zone together. This Friday put on a nice outfit and go out for dinner, find out what is happening in your area and make an appearance. This is crucial for the start of your lifestyle change challenge, you are breaking barriers and preparing yourself for the life you want.

First things are, make sure you stick to your morning routines. Wake up as early (6am is the best time to get up) as you can, you want to be up at this time so you can prep your day through prayer. Pray for everything, the gift of life, our nation, the church, our leaders, yourself, your friends, your family, and then especially the body of Christ. I believe that prayer opens doors that no one can close and closes doors that no one can open. Now I know a lot of you own your own businesses, are very career minded, and some of you prefer to work for someone else. Shout of to all the female entrepreneurs out there trying to make it, you go girl!!!! Number two, get yourself a vision board, you are merely blind without vision, I have three, it is something I go to daily to motivate myself, I use it as a guideline for my life goals. If you don’t know how to create a vision board simply cut out images from a magazine, specifically things you want in your life or where you see yourself in a few years time, also cut out quotes to motivate yourself and then glue your cuttings onto a board to create a vision board. Look at your vision board everyday to remind yourself of your goals and work on it everyday to see it come to pass.

Last but not the least start journaling, writing things down helps me uproot deep issues, I relieve stress this way and learn something new about myself, I also get to practice writing. Finally my Swwe21 Blog readers find that career you want to be in and make it a hobby, this is when it becomes a passion rather than work.

To summarise
– Have a morning routine, get up early and pray
– Make a vision board, use it everyday
– Keep a journal
